Painted Timber Shaker Kitchen

This kitchen was designed with a lot of input from our customers. They live in a Victorian property and are very passionate about the eclectic interior style in their home. They wanted to create a kitchen that looked almost freestanding, incorporating their retro style Gorenje fridge/freezer and Smeg oven.

Before we could start on the new kitchen, our team first had to remove the old kitchen. We then completed the electrical works, strategically placing power points to serve the appliances in new kitchen layout. Our team then plastered the walls and prepared the room, ready for decorating.

The clients are confident using strong colours within their home, choosing to paint the whole room in a dark green. Following the decorating works, it was back to us to turn the designs into reality. Our team of kitchen fitters installed the furniture, together with the appliances, sink & tap and worktops.

Dakota Quartz Worktop

They chose a lightly coloured Mussel for their shaker doors to contrast with the deep colour on the walls and ceilings. And the shimmer from the Dakota quartz worktop from Königstone brings an extra level of interest to the whole scheme.

The result is an inviting, warm room, with some striking accent colours provided by the carefully chosen accessories. The customers’ feedback was: “We are delighted with our new kitchen, not only is it beautiful to look at, it also works so well with how we live.”
