Shaker Kitchen with a Small Island

This customer decided to rearrange their downstairs by moving their kitchen to what used to be the living room. This allowed us to create a larger open plan kitchen / diner living area that now opens out to their patio area.

To separate the kitchen area from the dining area, we installed a small kitchen island. This allowed us to include additional storage space by way of two deep pan drawers. It also provided the perfect opportunity for us to create a small breakfast bar with seating for two people.

The doors are plain shaker in ivory wood effect with brass knobs and cup handles and Natural Hamilton Oak carcasses. The worktop is laminated with a woodgrain effect to match carcases. The sink is a white silgranite with brass taps to match the handles.

Kitchen Appliances

We designed and built a custom housing to integrate the Falmec extractor. In addition to this, we installed a NEFF integrated dishwasher, fridge-freezer with a NoFrost bottom freezer and a built-in microwave. The customer also opted for an induction hob and a built-in double oven.

To increase the amount of food storage space in the kitchen we installed a tall pull-out larder cabinet. And to further maximise the use of space we added corner pull-out units, a narrow spice rack and pull-out bins.
