Matt Black Shaker with Brass Handles

With its matt black doors, white worktop, brass handles and parquet flooring, this kitchen is certainly full of character. It has all the integrated appliance that you would expect in a modern kitchen and plenty of room for storage. And with its large kitchen island, it is a very social space with lots of room for food preparation.

The doors are plain shaker doors in Superior Matt Black and are complimented by the antique brass cups and knobs. To create a feature, we have added fluted glass and internal lighting to two of the wall units.

The customers wanted a striking worktop that was durable, stain resistant, heat resistant and easy to maintain. So, we opted for a Quartz 20mm worktop that not only looks great but is very hygienic too. And the Calacatta Gold Quartz pattern certainly works well with the matt black doors.

To complete the timeless and unique look of this kitchen, the customers opted for a Belfast double bowl sink. Not only does it look great, but it has a large capacity, and being ceramic, it is easy to clean.

Quooker Tap

To match the brass handles, we installed a Quooker Fusion round tap in patinated brass. The Quooker tap dispenses hot and cold water, just like any other tap. However, it also dispenses instant boiling water, making it great for cooking or for brewing your favourite tea.

Because you only heat the water you use, Quooker taps use on average 50% less energy than boiling with kettles. There is no wasted water, and you don’t have to re-heat the water just because you walked away for a few minutes. And because you no longer even need a kettle, there is less clutter on your kitchen worktop.

The kitchen also features some great modern appliances. It has all the benefits of a NEFF induction hob, built into the quartz worktop. There is a built-in NEFF double oven and wall unit integrated microwave. The kitchen also benefits from an integrated dishwasher and a free-standing LG American style fridge freezer.

Storage Solutions

There are lots of innovative storage solutions in this kitchen. To the right of the fridge freezer is a tall larder unit with a very efficient BLUM Space Tower. To the left of the fridge is another tall larder unit with more food storage and a coffee making area. A third tall unit provides storage for brooms and other cleaning equipment.

Housed in the kitchen island is a pull-out bin and pull-out storage drawers. And along the whole of the exterior wall, there is a run of deep pull-out pan drawers. One of which is also home to a hidden cutlery drawer.
